Cowleys Hire is proud to be 100% kiwi owned and operated and New Zealands longest established hire company.
It all started with Nanna (Helen) & Grandad (Ted) in 1951 with caravans and concrete mixers. In 1988 Dad- Wayne, and Mum- Beverley, took the company into the second generation and they lay the groundwork for becoming the biggest player in the hire business in New Zealand. Over the years it has been a story of change, growth and kiwi ingenuity.
2023 marks the start of the third generation for Cowleys Hire as Trent Cowley and his wife Rachel Cowley take the lead. Cowleys Hire still remains family owned and operated, 100% kiwi and proud to be Northlands largest equipment hire company.
Cowleys Hire is not just about tools and equipment. We’re about giving back to the community that we love: community sports clubs, awards nights, volunteer organisations, local charities and local events.
Like our equipment, our community support runs from big to small. From being a key sponsor at the Whangarei Fireworks Spectacular to providing masks to low decile schools in Whangarei during the Covid outbreak. Cowleys have been helping out our region in every way possible for over 70 years.
